About the Role
Description
This role is ideal for someone who understands the football ecosystem in Africa, has strong communication skills, and can help Kickwise introduce its platform to clubs and football employers who may benefit from publishing opportunities, recruiting talent, and connecting with football professionals.
The main goal of this position is to help Kickwise grow its employer network across Africa by identifying potential partners, contacting clubs and organisations, presenting the platform clearly, and supporting them through the early stages of joining Kickwise.
Responsibilities
- Identify football clubs, academies, agencies, federations, football schools, recruitment companies and sports organisations across African markets that may benefit from Kickwise.
- Reach out to potential employers through email, LinkedIn, social media, direct contacts and other professional communication channels.
- Introduce Kickwise in a clear, professional and trustworthy way, explaining how the platform can help them publish job opportunities, receive applications, recruit football players, and connect with football staff.
- Support clubs and organisations during their onboarding process and help them understand how to use Kickwise effectively.
Relationship Building
- Build long-term relationships with football decision-makers, club representatives, academy directors, recruitment staff and football business professionals.
- Act as a regional contact point for African clubs and football employers interested in Kickwise.
- Represent Kickwise with a professional, respectful and football-focused tone.
- Understand the needs of different football organisations and communicate feedback to the Kickwise team.
Market Research
- Research football markets across Africa and identify priority countries, leagues, clubs, academies and organisations.
- Monitor opportunities in professional football, youth football, women’s football, academy football and football staffing.
- Prepare simple reports about potential employer leads, market opportunities and regional feedback.
- Help Kickwise better understand how recruitment and career opportunities work across different African football markets.
Growth & Partnerships
- Support the development of regional growth strategies for Africa.
- Help create partnership opportunities with clubs, academies, football organisations and recruitment networks.
- Recommend new ideas that can help Kickwise become more useful and accessible for African football employers and professionals.
- Work closely with the Kickwise team to improve outreach messages, employer onboarding and regional communication.
What we are looking for?
- Strong knowledge of football in Africa, including clubs, academies, leagues, player development structures or football business networks.
- Experience or strong interest in football recruitment, club relations, business development, scouting, sports management, agency work or football operations.
- Excellent communication skills in English. Additional languages such as French, Arabic, Portuguese or local African languages are a strong advantage.
- Ability to contact and communicate with clubs, academies and football organisations in a professional way.
- Confidence in building relationships and presenting a new football platform to potential partners.
- Organised, proactive and able to work independently.
- Comfortable using email, LinkedIn, social media and online tools for outreach and relationship management.
- A genuine passion for football and for creating better career opportunities across the game.
Nice to have
- Existing contacts within African football clubs, academies, federations, agencies or recruitment networks.
- Previous experience in sales, partnerships, sports business, football operations, scouting, player representation or academy management.
- Understanding of football recruitment needs for both player roles and staff/personnel roles.
- Knowledge of women’s football, youth football or academy football in African markets.
- Experience working with international teams or digital platforms.
