About the Role
Description
Mitchelton Football Club is inviting expressions of interest from dedicated, enthusiastic and suitably qualified coaches who would like to join the club’s Academy coaching team for the 2027 season.
This opportunity is open to coaches at different stages of their development journey, from those beginning their coaching pathway to experienced coaches looking to progress their qualifications and contribute to a structured academy environment.
Please note that this is not a full-time program, and coaches are offered a stipend rather than a full-time salary.
Requirements
Applicants should hold a valid Blue Card and meet the relevant coaching qualification requirements below:
- Be enrolled in at least a Football Australia C Diploma by the end of 2026.
- Coaches at the beginning of their journey may hold a Foundation of Football certificate and be looking to assist, gain experience and continue developing as a coach.
Mitchelton FC is particularly interested in hearing from coaches who are motivated to progress their current coaching qualifications.
Application Process
Interested coaches should complete the official Expression of Interest form by following the application link and selecting the “REGISTER NOW” button.
As part of the application process, applicants are also asked to provide a session plan they have previously delivered and would be prepared to conduct if requested.

Only applications from coaches currently based in the Brisbane area will be accepted.
